Comments we receive from new users of our shampoo bar is that they have just started using the bar and  love it, but my hair feels different!

There are several reasons for this, but the main reason is that commercial detergent shampoos strip away the natural protective oils and your scalp produces more oil to compensate. Your scalp becomes conditioned to this vicious cycle of excess oil production.  As you transition to our natural shampoo bar, your scalp needs time to rebalance scalp oil production. During this transition period which could last a few days to even a month at worst, your hair may feel extra greasy or heavy or just plain different!

We use only natural ingredients in our shampoo bar and the chemicals in commercial shampoos make for quite a different shampoo experience. You may notice your hair feels different immediately after washing because your hair is accustomed to the squeaky clean feel of detergent based shampoo. Some people notice no difference but often there is a transition period as you switch from your chemical laden liquid shampoo to our natural conditioning shampoo bar and the effect if any, varies by person and hair type. Your hair may have increased tangles, more frizz and hair may even feel waxy but generally in most instances your hair literally will learn to live without the chemicals.

Directions: Wet hair thoroughly. Rub bar directly onto your hair, 3 strokes backwards and forwards is enough but it varies depending on how much hair you have. Massage hair and scalp creating a lather and leave in for a few minutes. Rinse your hair thoroughly.
